About me

Yoga is best when it is personal. Our bodies are different; some hips fit better in some exercises. Mood also affects the choice of style; some need dynamism, others seek peace. I can help you find your yoga.

About

From my path into yoga to where I am now

Meditation has been important to me since I found a book on meditation in the library in high school. I was then 19. I became curious about what “personal development”, as the book promised, could be. I got yoga at the same time, because everyone said that meditation and yoga fit well together. The two went hand in hand, over courses for many years, eventually also some of their own practice. I really came back to yoga in 2015 when I was looking for a way to alleviate extreme stress that had given me shoulder pain and neck prolapse. With therapeutic yoga I came closer to old emotional patterns and in yin yoga I found the peace that the body needed; the prolapse pain disappeared completely. In 2020, I went a step further and trained as a yoga teacher.

My Yoga-journey

I have been to a rainbow of yoga, everything from very dynamic forms such as ashtanga to the total calm in restorative. My yoga is now on the calm side, to be an extension of reflection and presence in mindfulness and yoga. I have a special interest in yoga for mental health, as I myself have benefited greatly from yoga for this. Yoga and meditation have supported me through periods of depression, insomnia, severe anxiety and extreme stress. I would like to share this with others.
